RFU Club Accreditation Background
The RFU invests significant effort in developing community rugby clubs across the country. It provides assistance to clubs in working towards a minimum standard to ensure that clubs are safe, friendly and effective places to play the game of rugby.
The RFU has recently replaced their Seal of Approval with a new Club Accreditation scheme that helps club sections to become stronger, more effective, more efficient and more enjoyable places in which to play rugby. Unlike other accreditation schemes, this one provides a framework for a club to show what it is doing, how it does it, and where it can improve.
Bedford Junior Blues is the largest junior club in the region and has previously attained the RFU Seal of Approval in 2006 and were re-accredited in 2010, 2013, 2016 & 2019.
Bedford Junior Blues has a very active committee that continually looks to develop the club, with a focus on providing rugby in a safe and friendly environment. The RFU Accredited Club status proves that the RFU has checked the way in which the club is run and are fully satisfied that we continue to meet these goals.
